A roofline where dark shingles, a standing-seam metal porch roof and fiber cement siding meet at dusk.

Roofing & Siding Systems

The Systems We Install

Seven roofing and siding systems, each installed as a complete system: underlayment, flashing, trim and the finish you see.

Roofing Systems

Steep-slope and low-slope roofs.

Every roof gets the same groundwork: a sound deck, the right underlayment, flashing at every penetration and transition, and ventilation that matches the plan.

Shingle

Architectural asphalt shingles

The workhorse of custom and production homes: dimensional shingles over a full underlayment, with starter, hip and ridge to match.

Best for
Custom homes, production phases, re-roofs
What we coordinate
Ventilation balance, valley style, colour approval with the owner

Tile

Concrete and clay tile

Heavy, long-lasting roofs set on battens over a double underlayment, with the hip, ridge and rake details tile needs.

Best for
Custom homes and communities that call for tile
What we coordinate
Structural load confirmation with your engineer, loading the roof, bird stop and eave closure

Metal

Standing-seam metal

Panels formed to length with concealed fasteners, and the trim, flashing and ridge pieces made in our own shop.

Best for
Modern customs, porch and accent roofs, low pitches
What we coordinate
Panel layout, seam direction, snow and slide guards where needed, finish samples
Request a Quote for metal

Low-Slope TPO

Low-slope TPO membrane

A heat-welded single-ply membrane for flat and low-slope sections, over tapered insulation that moves water to the drains.

Best for
Decks, podiums, mixed-use and flat sections of a pitched roof
What we coordinate
Taper layout, drain and scupper locations, tie-ins to the steep-slope roof and walls

Siding Systems

Lap, panel, shingle and board-and-batten.

Siding is only as good as what’s behind it. We install the barrier, the flashing at every opening and the trim, then the siding itself.

Fiber Cement

Fiber cement siding

Lap, panel and board-and-batten in fiber cement: durable, fire-resistant and ready for paint or factory finish.

Best for
Custom homes, multi-family, production phases
What we coordinate
Rainscreen or direct-applied, trim profile, blind or face nailing, paint sequence
Request a Quote for fiber cement

Vinyl

Vinyl siding

Low-maintenance lap and shake profiles with the right channels and trim, hung so it can move with the weather.

Best for
Multi-family and value-engineered phases
What we coordinate
Colour and profile, J-channel and trim at openings, expansion gaps at every run
Request a Quote for vinyl

Wood Siding

Wood siding

Cedar and other wood sidings in shiplap, bevel and shingle, back-primed and installed over a ventilated gap where specified.

Best for
Custom homes and accent walls
What we coordinate
Species and grade, finish before or after install, fastener type, end-grain sealing

Kick-out, step flashing and trim where a shingle roof edge meets a fiber cement wall.

Where Systems Meet

The details between the roof and the wall.

Because one crew carries both scopes, nobody leaves a gap for the other trade to figure out. Roof-to-wall flashing, kick-outs, window heads and deck tie-ins are on our list from the first walk.

  • Kick-out flashing where every roof edge meets a wall
  • Step and counter flashing behind the siding, not caulked on top
  • Window and door heads lapped the right way
  • Low-slope to steep-slope transitions detailed and photographed
  • Penetrations blocked and flashed before the siding goes on
